Just found this Erica meeting experience at IMDB.com by Loving Lois Lane. Because of amazing stories like these with Erica, I am and will always be a fan of Erica. My boyfriend and I attend sci-fi conventions all the time. I’ve met Erica Durance briefly on two different occasions as she was signing some photographs for me. Each time she was beyond lovely. She’s a very personable person who is extremely friendly to her fans. The first time I met Erica was a bit funny because I actually got “star-struck” which doesn’t happen to me often. Basically I was fine waiting in line and then I was in front of her and everything changed. My heart just began beating really quickly, my body got really hot, and then I swear I thought I would pass out. I was very stiff, got my autograph and left. Afterwards I felt really bad because I thought that I may have come across as rude or something but I couldn’t help it. You hear this quite a bit, but in this case it’s as true as ever, Erica Durance is much, much more beautiful in real life than what you see on TV which is already enough to leave anyone stunned. In person she’s just so much more vibrant and well…she’s there in person so her beauty just strikes you immediately. It did to me. The second time I didn’t get as nervous but I was still shaking a bit. She was very sweet again and what I loved is that while I was talking to her, her eyes were straight on me, and you could tell she was actually listening and not just thinking, “Uh-huh, whatever, let’s move on.” For those who go to conventions, you know that about 90% of the people there are great, but some aren’t so great. You can tell some are just there for money or publicity. Anyway, Erica seemed to be there because she likes to meet her fans. That’s what I got from her and she didn’t have to say anything about the topic. It was just the way she talked to me and the way I watched her interact with other people. Erica is extremely down-to-earth, breathtakingly beautiful, and very well spoken. I wish more people would have the chance to meet her in person so they can see how sweet and wonderful she is. Yay Can't wait! 8 days til my parents get out of my hair! 7 days til Public Enemies comes out on DVD 2 days til I go to Disney for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party!
